On the 17th June 2026, we saw the graduation of the latest Beginner and Development bands. In March 2025 a few members of the main band had the idea of opening up the band hall on Friday mornings to have a fun relaxing reherarsal together. We invited anyone from the local brass and wind groups who play brass or percussion to come along and join us. We couldn't have imagined how successful it would become. We now have players from may local organisations coming together and making some fantastic music in a friendly relaxed atmosphere. Over 40 players have come along

Since our last posting in March 2026, the TSB organisation has not stopped still. The main band have been contesting and given public performances in Towcester and Northampton. Our Daytime band has also performed in public, while our new Beginner and Development groups have continued their progression and performed at their Graduation ceremony. TSB Band could not have wished for a better opening to 2026. Following our Autumn concert in September, the band were extremely busy preparing for the ‘Leicester’ contest (in which we came a very creditable 3 rd place) and the always busy Christmas schedule (which started in October!).
