Country Live at Blenheim Palace
The Oxford & District Brass Band Association created a scratch Band to perform on the Village Green at Countryfile Live! Towcester Studio Band were well represented with Helen Smith, Penelope Tollervey, Chris Stevens and Kevin Hawkins in attendance. The event will be televised in two weeks and if you are lucky you might see and hear the TSB Four in action!
Barnwell July 2019
July saw us at the annual Barnwell Brass Festival, where Paula Boulton composed a piece of music titled ‘Impressions of Barnwell’. The piece told a story of her connections and experiences over many years of Barnwell (a small Northamptonshire Village). This piece was performed by all five bands taking part in the day long festival and TSB thoroughly enjoyed being a part of it.
