Established after the Covid lockdowns as a way to help brass players and percussionists ease back into playing again, TSB2 now meets on a Monday evening and includes a small core of members from the main band as well as players who aren’t ready or able to commit to full-time banding.
This group has now become our Community Band, which Dave Howard conducts.
TSB2 welcomes players of all standards who would like to play in an informal ensemble and who enjoy making music at community events, fetes, in care homes and schools, and of course, Christmas carolling.
