As well as gaining 3rd place at this year's Midlands Regional contest (and the invitation to the Finals at Cheltenham), it has now been confirmed that we have also gained promotion to the Second Section as of 1st January 2025.
It has been a long 11 years since we were last in the Second Section (2013). We would especially like to thank our dedicated and very hardworking MD, Neil Brownless for the effort and patience provided since he first joined us in 2015. Even though Neil left us in 2019, he rejoined after graduating with a Masters degree in Brass Band conducting (Royal Welsh College of Music) in 2022.
