Towcester Studio Band present cheque to Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance! Back in September the members, families and friends of Towcester Studio Band completed a ‘Cyclathon’ around Pitsford Reservoir to raise much needed money for W&A Air Ambulance and Band funds. The Xmas Carol Service held on Thursday 19th on Towcester market square was the event chosen to present the cheque to AA representative Peter Robinson. Chris Stevens (Band Treasurer) and Kevin Hawkins (Committee member) made the presentation. The carol service was broadcast live on Radio Northampton and with ‘goodwill and kindness’ in the forefront of everyone’s mind at this time of year, this event was an ideal time to pledge support to this very worthy charity. The Band has had a very busy December with three formal concerts and lots of caroling around the area. We have received very generous support from the listening public and TSB would like to take this opportunity to wish all of its supporters a very Merry Xmas and Happy New Year. Thank-you for your continued support, it is very much appreciated!
