On 14th September 2024 we had an early start travelling to Cheltenham to arrive for the draw at 8am. We were drawn to play at number 9 out of 20 bands. The band played very well under the direction of Neil Brownless and were complemented by numerous listeners. At the end of the day 4Barsrest had us to win! But alas, that was the 'kiss of death' and sadly it was not to be, the adjudicators had another view and placed us a creditable and satisfying 8th place.
